St. George’s Day Assembly

This week we recognised St. George’s Day. I reminded the children of the legend of St. George and shared with them that several countries across Europe also have him as the Patron Saint.

We  then discussed how British Values and our Raglan Character Virtues mirror the themes of what St. George stood for. I believe it is important to recognise St. George’s Day because it is a part of what makes England a terrific country to be in – rich in history, diversity and character.
