Raglan Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP)

At Raglan we are proud to have an additionally resourced provision (ARP) for children with severe speech and language difficulties.

Sharks Class

Frogs Class

Within these two classes, the class teachers, teaching assistants and our ‘Words First’ speech and language therapists work together to provide a language rich environment to ensure that all pupils become confident communicators and reach their full potential.

Children who attend our ARP provision all have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), identifying severe speech and/or language disorder as their primary need.  The Borough of Bromley allocate places in the ARP through its team of SEND case workers.

Our school is a diverse and inclusive school community.  We strive to provide as many opportunities as possible for children in our ARP to learn and play alongside children in the mainstream school – from shared assemblies, lunchtimes and playtimes to participation in a range of mainstream lessons and educational visits.  At Raglan, we believe that ‘Learning is for Everyone’.
