Using Makaton

The children in Nursery, KS1 and the LLC and ULC classes have been learning Makaton. Makaton is designed to help hearing people with learning or communication difficulties.

Makaton uses signs and symbols, with speech, in spoken word order. With Makaton, children and adults can communicate straight away using signs and symbols.
