Dear Parents/Carers & Guardians

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive free school meals automatically but it is still necessary for parents of these pupils who receive one or more of the qualifying benefits (see link below for eligibility criteria) to complete a Free School Meal/Pupil Payment Premium application in order for the child’s school to benefit from the additional Pupil Premium funding.

For pupils in all other year groups including Nursery, an application must be submitted to secure both Free School Meals and the Pupil Premium Payment.

For the 2023-2024 school year all primary school children are being given free school meals by the Mayor of London.  However, if you think you would qualify for free school meals under the normal criteria, please still do make the application as the school will receive additional funding.
