Last week, the children from Year 5 and some in Frogs class took a trip to Rochester Castle and cathedral.
This was in conjunction with our learning looking at the Normans and their invasion of Britain. It was a wonderful experience and truly remarkable to walk the same pathways and halls as the Normans 900 years prior.
The children had a fantastic day and got a lot out of it, immersing themselves into the topic. A massive thank you to Mrs Johnson for organising the event and to all the parents in making it possible and getting the children to Rochester.
