Help Mr Farmer Survive 50k for a Great Cause!
Mr Farmer has somehow convinced himself that running The Kent Downs ultra-marathon is a good idea. Yes, you read that right – 50k of sheer determination, a sprinkle of insanity, and a lot of snacks. But hey, it’s all for a fantastic cause – raising money for our school!

Why is He Doing This?
1. Education is the key to a brighter future, and Raglan Primary is doing incredible work to provide a nurturing environment for our students. Your donation will help fund the KS2 playground upgrades and in-class fitness programme for EYFS and KS1.
2. To Prove He’s Not a Couch Potato: Time to dust off the running shoes and prove that he can do more than binge-watch TV series.
3. Because He Lost a Bet: Just kidding! Or maybe not. Let’s just say a moment of overconfidence led to this crazy idea.
What’s in It for You?
• Entertainment: Imagine Mr Farmer running, walking, crawling, and possibly questioning all his life choices over 30+ miles. It’s bound to be a sight to see!
• Updates: he will promise to keep you updated with hilarious progress reports, including questionable snack choices, mid-run epiphanies, and inevitable blisters.
• Feel Good Factor: Knowing that your contribution is making a real difference in the lives of students at Raglan will warm your heart and put a smile on your face.
How Can You Help?
• Donate: Every penny counts! Whether it’s the cost of a fancy coffee or a week’s worth of groceries, your contribution will go a long way.
• Share: Spread the word like you’re sharing the latest meme. The more people know about this, the more funds we can raise.
• Get Involved: Join in the fun – can you outrun Mr Farmer??!! On 4th October we will be holding our very own Raglan Ultra where children, staff and parents will be able to take part (see school communication for more details).
• Cheer Mr Farmer On: Words of encouragement, funny GIFs, and virtual high-fives are greatly appreciated. He’ll need all the motivation and support he can get!
Thank you for your support, generosity, and belief in the power of education (and his questionable decision-making). Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these students and maybe even set a new personal record – for the number of times he can say, “I think I can, I think I can!”
Let’s make this run one for the books!
With much gratitude and a hint of trepidation,
Staff at Raglan Primary School and on Behalf of Mr Farmer
