The Power of the Pen

A massive well done to Year 4 who earlier in the term wrote to Champion Timber highlighting the dangers of deforestation to the world.

Their voice was heard and Champion Timber replied in detail. (Please do read the attached letter from them) Indeed the power of Year 4s collective voice and their ability to communicate their concerns about deforestation has prompted a response. This is a terrific life skill to have and I am so proud of them all for looking out for our environment.

I have challenged Year 4 to see if Champion Timber would commit to sourcing us trees to plant in an outdoor learning area. I am confident they will succeed! Well done Year 4. You have shown indeed the power of the pen!
