Invasion of the Stick Insects!

Children in Frogs were surprised to see that they had had some special visitors this week in their class. These visitors came courtesy of Mr Mead (Mrs Mead’s husband) and in the form of ‘stick insects’, which have been named Blossom, Space Star and Daisy.

Frogs class have been studying them this week, and will continue to help them grow to full size in the oncoming weeks. I was privileged to also see the thank you letter that Frogs children did for Mr Mead. The writing composition development, handwriting and vocabulary choices the children used were terrific and they should all be very proud of their writing progress. I really hope the ‘stick insects do not grow so large that they will be lurking round the school!
