The World of AI!

On Wednesday Tom Walters (one of our parents) led whole school assembly. Tom has worked in AI since its origins and took the children on his journey of life-long love of science.

This was an incredibly inspirational and the children marvelled when he explained and showed them the first computer he had access to in school – a far cry from what they have access to today! Tom explained to the children the AI projects he has worked on and the failures he had experienced trying to develop AI equipment and technology.

He explained to the children how our Raglan Character Virtues of resilience, confidence, and independence enabled him to overcome the obstacles throughout his life to achieve what he has.

This was hugely inspirational for the children. The children were gripped by the experiences Tom shared in science and the world of computer science. A massive thank you to Tom.
